Initially relocated to assist Motto Motto by leading the marketing and franchising functions, Matt soon took on the role of Group Chief Commercial Officer to develop and grow new and existing revenue streams, including the company's complex supply chain and start the development of a new food manufacturing business.
In 2019 Matt also worked contractually with Australasia's leading and recently awarded 'best global franchise consultancy', DC Strategy.
In early 2021, Motto Motto's Founder, William Liu appointed Matt as the Group Chief Operating Officer. This highly strategic role has accountability for sales, people and profit is charged with leading big change projects across the group. The COO leads the entire organisation, including the brand & marketing functions, supply chain, value zone, restaurant operations, wholesale food manufacturing and new restaurant development. The finance, administration and property functions sit within the group's shared services.
